EV Centre

At the EV Centre

Take advantage of the UK’s first brand neutral centre in the heart of Milton Keynes. Where we simply aim to bust the myths around electric vehicles, improve public perception and answer questions.

The EV Experience Centre is available for any business that would like to help their employees familiarise themselves with the world of electric. On the experience days we talk on the past, present and future of EV’s, covering a full EV 101, and simplify all the variants of EV’s.

During this session the gurus will cover;

  • Charging infrastructure
  • Batteries
  • Cost savings
  • Types of EV
  • Zap Map
  • Charging times
  • Range
  • Current incentives
  • Connection types
  • Test drives

Virtual sessions are also available, they will cover the information above and include a Q&A session with an experienced EV Specialist. Keep an eye on our social media to find out when the next virtual event will be.

The Centre regularly hosts manufacturer ‘takeover’ events, the most recent being a Kia UK takeover with Kia electric models exclusively displayed, as well as launch events such as the official UK launch of the new generation Nissan LEAF and Volkswagen’s press day for the new e-Golf.

We have also hosted events for LeasePlan UK and their new electric driving program, as well as The Fully Charged Show.

At your workplace

The EV Experience Centre team also host events at businesses and workplaces, locally and beyond, aimed at promoting new charge points and electric vehicle programs.

Notably, the team have previously worked with Milton Keynes based company Renew by loaning out 3 electric vehicles to employees for a 2 week trial period, with the company ultimately going on to install 2 workplace charge points for employee use.

In public places and open spaces

As a Milton Keynes’ Go Ultra Low initiative, we work a lot with the local community, assisting with the loan of vehicles primarily, the most prominent being Milton Keynes’ Pedalling Culture project, which saw the car wrapped in eye-catching artwork, designed by local artists.

The EV Experience Centre has also hosted events with businesses such as Network Rail, the Open University, Milton Keynes College, D&A Autos, Chicheley Hall, Parks Trust, Cummins Inc, MK Soapbox Race, and more.
